Even on easy mode they will have to do a lot of trial and error before finishing the different puzzles, but trial and error is encouraged in the gameplay and not penalized.

Thinkrolls: Kings & Queens is a fun physics puzzle game that features castles, dragons and magic spells. Kids pick and customize their own Thinkroll character before starting the game off.

The goal of the game seems awfully simple but can be quite challenging: you roll your character around, move and manipulate the objects in the space around you to obtain a key and find a clear path to unlock a gate to the next level.

The levels are not timed and you are not penalized if you want to restart the level to strategize a new path. Both of those decisions are quite important to the gameplay as they eliminate any pressure to be quick and you don’t have to stress about making mistakes.

Where do we get started here? The app is incredible at challenging kids to strategize and plan to defeat obstacles. It’s a great way to exercise their memory and concentration skills while introducing them to fun science concepts by giving them hands-on physics play.

Yes, yes, yes. Avokiddo continues to be among the very best publishers of children’s apps and as great as the other Thinkrolls games are, Kings and Queens might be our favorite in the series. It’s beautifully designed, incredibly fun and is a great way to exercise the mind.
